Bridge building.

This is the moment to build the bride across America. So how do we do it? For me, I take inspiration from our own Golden Gate bridge. Built one post at a time. Every time we walk through one another’s world, we build a post. Every time we are curious to learn about another student or family’s experience different than our own, we build a post. Every time we speak first with kindness before arguing our points of view, we build a post. Before we know it, everyone in our community becomes a bridge builder. One day we look up, and our unity bridge is built. Like the Golden Gate, its one that can last a lifetime.
