Meet a rising Youth UnityMaker: Yasha Zink.
My name is Yasha Zink and I'm currently attending Tamalpais High School. This year I joined Tam's AIM (Academy of Integrated Media) program where we make film projects and learn about cinematography!
My current assignment is to create a political ad on either a politician who is running for a position or a measure. I decided to do my project on Yasmine McGrane.
She has helped me so much throughout the process and supplied me with lots of great photos that are included in the ad. I hope you can see what Yasmine is trying to accomplish to bring unity to our community by watching the video And as always - Vote Yas4Unity for School Board!

Racial Justice Teachable Moment.
Tiburon and Belvedere town in CA held a joint town hall to hear community voices after a situation that occurred on Aug 21 @ 1:00am between police and owners of Yema, a compassion centric black-owned business in downtown Tiburon. Please listen to the words of Yema owners, Yema Khalif and Hawi Awash, (begins @ 18:35 in recording). They chose to respond from place of LOVE not fear. Teachable moment how leaders can unite, not divide, communities as we all work together to create a more equitable world. Also, listen to speaker at 45:00, helps illuminate the rights of our U.S. Constitution. Photo from Yema website
