Join us for our monthly coffee chat. It’s a wonderful way for us to get to know one another as neighbors, build trust, and openly share ideas/updates about unifying our schools and community.

This month we’ll talk CULTURE. It’s something many people want to chat about but perhaps not sure how to go about it. Sipping coffee over zoom might be a good way to start the conversation!

Let’s share what we LOVE about the culture at both Bayside MLK and WCA. This way we can all take a stroll through the world at our sister school through storytelling. Then we’ll chat openly about fears we all may have about losing parts of our culture we hold dear thru unification. Together we’ll begin imaging what a new school culture might feel like where perhaps we took common values and cultural elements currently thriving at both schools and add on new complementary cultural differences, that if brought together, might create an enriched culture that everyone can truly be excited about and feel at home in.
